Plain-language policy.OTB is a free community app right now — no payments. This is written to be clear and to fit Swiss data rules; we'll have it professionally reviewed before we ever introduce paid events.

These terms govern your use of OTB. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Effective date: 20 September 2026.

A. The basics

• OTB is a free platform that connects players to organise and join real-life board-game meetups and events.
• You must be at least 18 years old, use one account per person, and provide accurate information.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.

B. Our role and limits of liability

• OTB is only a platform / intermediary. We do not organise, attend, or supervise events.
• You attend events at your own risk. OTB is not responsible for what happens at in-person meetings, including safety, injury, or the behaviour of others.
• We do not guarantee the quality of events or the conduct of users.
• Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by Swiss law.
• You agree to indemnify OTB if you cause harm to others through your use of the service.

C. Behaviour

• No harassment, fraud, illegal activity, or fake events.
• We may suspend or ban users, and cancel events, that break these rules. See the Community rules.

D. Legal

• These terms are governed by Swiss law; the place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland.
• We may update these terms; we will make the updated version available here and, for material changes, notify you.
• Your privacy is covered by our Privacy Policy.
• If any clause is found invalid, the rest remain in force (severability).
